 Due to DORMpillow's unique design, we ship it with portability as a top feature. It will arrive compressed in wrapped packaging from Amazon and weighs only 4 lbs.  This makes it easy to transport and set up in their dorm room.  

The Original DORMpillow is a sturdy cushion that is designed to stands on its own so no command/velcro strips needed.  It is shaped like a headboard and sits on your bed to 'fill the gap' between the bed and wall.  There is no hardware and no assembly.
